For Better or for Worse ? Know Our Chicago Mayoral Candidates!

Chicago one of the world's most popular cities is electing its new Mayor come February 22, 2011. Whether we like them or not , whether we root and believe for what each and every candidate is advocating for , we as citizens of the United States of America , we as residents of our beloved Chicago should and must get involved in the electoral processes starting with registering to vote to knowing your candidates , be a responsible citizen don't just go to the polling precinct unprepared , again be a responsible citizen KNOW YOUR CANDIDATES!


" Vote and be counted" as we always hear whenever it's election time aside from "nausea- inducing promises of the Politicians". Save a clips or clips of their campaign promises so that when they get elected and they don't do what they promised they would do once elected you can slap them with those campaign  clips!

As a concerned citizen and a Chicagoan let me introduce to you the 2011 Chicago Mayoral Candidates (in random order) :
Rahm Emmanuel - Jewish , Liberal , Anti Alaska/offshore oil drilling, former Chief-of-Staff of President Obama , backed by Former President Bill Clinton, Pro Free Trade, Pro Gay marriage



Chico, Gery- Hispanic , very liberal , Anti school voucher, Anti -Bush Tax Cuts, Pro Gay marriage, once served as Chief-of -Staff of Richard M. Daley from September 1992- May 1997

Del Valle, Miguel - A State Legislator from 1987 to 2006, Chicago City Clerk


Mosley-Braun , Carol - African - American , Anti Alaska/offshore oil drilling, Anti School voucher, Anti -Bush Tax Cuts, Anti Death Penalty, Pro Gay Marriage , Pro Embryonic Stem Cell Research, a U.S. Senator 1992-1998, US Ambassador to New Zealand and Samoa , She taught Law and Political Science at Morris Brown College and DePaul University


Van Pelt-Watkins, Patricia - A non partisan

William "Dock" Walls III - A Community and Political Activist , a former Aide to Chicago's first African-American Mayor  the late Harold Washington and currently the Director of the Committee for a Better Chicago, once served as National Political Director to Rev. Jesse L. Jackson's Rainbow PUSH . He graduated from IIT -Chicago -Kent College of Law.
